The Best 5 Ninja Creami Recipes

The Best 5 Ninja Creami Recipes to Try Now

Already have everything ready? Perfect — let’s dive into the recipes!

Oh. My. GOSH. You got a Ninja Creami?! [Happy dance here] Congrats on your new addiction, friend. Remember my first time – hanging out in my kitchen at 2 AM, hypnotized by this magic machine turning frozen milk into ACTUAL ICE CREAM like some kind of dairy wizard. I’ve never been the same since.

Let me explain something to you: your freezer is going to be the hottest room in the house (which, when I say it out loud, sounds crazy but YOU KNOW WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT). These recipes? You could literally prep them half-asleep (which, ahh, I’ve never done, OFTEN). So slip on those stretchy sweatpants and let’s get creami-ing!

1. “Wait, This is Actually Better Than Store-Bought?” Chocolate Ice Cream

(AKA: My Reason for Buying Bigger Jeans)

The Stuff You’ll Need:

  • 1½ cups milk (whole, almond, whatever floats your boat)
  • 1 cup heavy cream (the secret to that “oh wow” texture)
  • ½ cup sugar (or sweetener if you’re feeling ~healthy~)
  • ⅓ cup cocoa powder (not that sad dusty can from your grandma’s pantry)
  • 1 tsp vanilla (because fancy people like us use it)
  • Pinch of salt (this is the secret ingredient, don’t skip it!)

How to Make Magic Happen:

  1. Throw it all in a bowl and sprinkle some whisking as if you’re trying to woo someone (even your cat)
  2. Pour into the pint (don’t leave too much room – this isn’t a frat house)
  3. Freeze for 24 hours (forever)
  4. Press that Ice Cream button and WATCH THE MAGIC
  5. Scrape the sides (yes, actually) and respin as needed
  6. Eat straight from the tub without shame

Why This Will Kill Store-Bought Ice Cream For You:

That first bite will make you wonder why you’ve ever spent a single dollar on high-end ice cream. It’s THAT good. Rich, chocolatey, and somehow. better than anything you’ve bought?

Pro Tips From Someone Who’s Made This 47 Times:

  • Spin in the peanut butter after spinning for a Reese’s effect
  • Crush up some Oreos and stir them in like the dessert rebel you are
  • Add a shot of espresso powder if you want to kick it mocha

(Because Adulting is Hard and We Deserve This)

Cookie Dough Ice Cream
Cookie Dough Ice Cream

What to Plunder from Your Kitchen:

  • Same base as above (milk, cream, sugar, vanilla)
  • ½ cup cookie dough (store-bought or make your own – we don’t judge here)

How to Make Childhood Dreams a Reality:

  1. Make the base, freeze it, do the spinny thing
  2. Chop cookie dough into pieces (or just rip it with your fingers – we’re not fancy)
  3. After spinning, add in the dough and press “Mix-In”
  4. Try not to eat it all in one sitting (good luck with that)

Sneaking bites of raw dough is a childhood memory, right? This is that moment, but now you’re an adult and NO ONE CAN STOP YOU.

Next-Level Hacks:

  • Refrigerate the bite-sized pieces of dough beforehand so they stay chewy
  • Add chocolate chips to mix for extra texture
  • Drizzle with caramel because WHY NOT

3. “It’s Fruit So It’s Kind of a Salad” Mango Sorbet

(Awesome When You Want to be Self-Righteous but Also Decadent)

Mango Sorbet
Mango Sorbet

Get Your Hands on These Ingredients:

  • 3 cups frozen mango (because no one has time to peel real mango)
  • ½ cup coconut milk (or water if you’re being ridiculously light)
  • 2 tbsp honey (or skip it if your mango is ripe enough)
  • 1 tbsp lime juice (for that ~tropical getaway~ vibe)

How to Make Sunshine in a Bowl:

  1. Blend all that stuff until smooth(ish)
  2. Pour into pint, freeze, and then sorbet mode that bad boy
  3. Eat while pretending you’re on a beach somewhere

Why This is a Game-Changer:

It’s light and refreshing, it’s dairy-free, and makes you pretend like you’re being ~healthy~ but really eating dessert. Win-win.

Make It Even Better:

  • Add a splash of orange juice for a bit of extra zing
  • Top with toasted coconut if you’re fancy
  • Mix in some rum before freezing for “adult” sorbet (thanks)

4. “Fancy Enough for Date Night” Vanilla Bean Gelato

(More Impressive Looking Than Actually Super Easy AF)

Vanilla Bean Gelato
Vanilla Bean Gelato

What You Need:

  • Same basic ingredients underneath (milk, cream, sugar)
  • 1 vanilla bean OR 2 tsp vanilla extract (no shame in the extract life)

How to Impress People:

  1. Scrape vanilla bean into mixture (or just dump in extract)
  2. Freeze, spin on Gelato mode
  3. Serve in a small spoonful to really sell the ~sophisticated~ ambiance

Why This Feels Like a Treat:

The tiny specks of vanilla make it look like you bought it from some fancy Italian boutique when really you made it in pajamas.

Upgrade It:

  • Swirl in raspberry jam for a creamsicle effect
  • Add crushed waffle cones for crunch
  • A sprinkle of cinnamon for warmth

5. “All the Cheesecake Flavor Without the Work” Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream

(Because Baking Actual Cheesecake is Too Much Effort)

Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream
Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream

Get These:

  • Same base ingredients
  • 4 oz cream cheese (secret weapon)
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • ½ cup crushed graham crackers

How to Hack Dessert:

  1. Blend strawberries into base
  2. Freeze, spin, then stir in graham crackers
  3. Don’t eat the whole pint at once (I believe in you)

Why This is Genius:

It’s cheesecake. but cold. and somehow simpler? SIGN ME UP.

Make It Your Own:

  • Replace strawberries with blueberries or peaches
  • Drizzle with white chocolate
  • Stir in actual pieces of cheesecake if you’re insane

Final Thoughts (From One Creami Enthusiast to Another)

Okay real talk: once you start making your own ice cream, you can’t go back. Your freezer will be stocked with pints, your friends will be requesting bites, and your sweatpants will become your best friend. But hey – so so so worth it.

What’s one are you trying first? (And don’t be fibbing – are you actually going to share?) Leave a comment below and let’s facilitate each other’s dessert lifestyles!

P.S. If you “accidentally” drink three pints a week. same. No judgment here. ????

For the strawberry cheesecake, at what point do we add the cream cheese? Freeze into base or mix in with strawberries?

    1. Emily Avatar

      Hi Erica!

Thanks for the question! For the Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream, you add the cream cheese right into the base mixture in the very first step.

So, when you make the base (milk, cream, sugar, vanilla), blend the 4 oz of softened cream cheese in with it before you freeze it for the first time. That way, the cheesecake flavor gets spun into every bite!

The frozen strawberries also get blended into that base before freezing. The crushed graham crackers are stirred in after the spinning is done.

Hope that clears it up—enjoy your cheesecake ice cream! It’s one of my favorites.
